Effective leadership is not a title — it is a practiced set of skills, behaviors, and mindsets. Our team designs and delivers leadership development programs that help leaders at all levels of an organization become more self-aware, more effective with their teams, and better equipped to navigate the complex challenges of organizational life in Mozambique and the region.

Our approach to leadership development draws on internationally validated tools — we are certified in MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) and DISC — and combines assessments with experiential learning, peer reflection, and practical skill-building. We have delivered leadership development programs for a remarkably wide range of clients, including VALE, Rio Tinto, Standard Bank, HCB, Barclays Bank, GALP, GIZ, UNICEF, USAID, Save the Children, EGPAF, Eduardo Mondlane University, FIPAG (now FIPAAS), AIAS (now Instituto de Águas), the General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF), Tribunal Administrativo, as well as to several civil society organizations.

Training

We have trained over 10,000 people in Mozambique across more than 25 years — and our training philosophy remains constant: learning must be experiential, contextualized, and designed to produce real behavioral change, not just information transfer.

Our team applies the ADDIE approach (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) to every training engagement, ensuring that what we design is anchored in real organizational needs and delivered in ways that maximize retention and application. We have designed and delivered training programs on a wide range of topics: results-based management, strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, financial management, resource mobilization and proposal writing, organizational governance, productivity tools, customer service, presentation skills, project management, human resources management, knowledge management, and many more.

Our clients have included USAID, the World Bank, UNICEF, Standard Bank, VALE, Barclays, GIZ, Oxfam, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Planning and Development, and dozens of local civil society organizations. We also design and deliver Training of Trainers programs, building internal training capacity within our client organizations. Teambuilding

High-performing teams don't happen by accident — they are built intentionally, through shared experiences that deepen trust, clarify roles, align values, and strengthen communication. Our team has facilitated over 100 team building and team development workshops across Mozambique and the region, for organizations ranging from international agencies to private companies to local NGOs.

Our approach to team building is experiential and tailored. We design each event to address the specific dynamics, challenges, and aspirations of the team in question — not a generic set of games and activities, but a thoughtfully structured experience that connects to the team's real organizational context. We are certified in MBTI and DISC, which we use to generate deeper self-awareness and team understanding where appropriate.

Whether we are assessing individual profiles, team dynamics, or organizational training needs, our team brings rigorous, evidence-based assessment methodologies that produce actionable insights — not just data.

We conduct assessments at multiple levels. At the individual and team level, we are internationally certified in MBTI and DISC — tools that illuminate how people think, communicate, lead, and collaborate — informing coaching, team development, and leadership programs. At the organizational level, we have conducted Training Needs Assessments for government institutions and civil society organizations across Mozambique, identifying skill gaps and organizational challenges to design targeted, context-specific capacity development interventions.

Our training needs assessment work combines quantitative and qualitative approaches — including interviews, focus groups, competency mapping, and process analysis — to ensure that training investments are well-directed and produce measurable results. In every context, our assessments are designed not to judge, but to inform: to provide the clarity needed for better decisions about people, teams, and organizational capacity development.

Coaching

We offer individual and group coaching to executives, managers, and emerging leaders who want to grow — in their leadership effectiveness, their self-awareness, their ability to navigate organizational complexity, or their capacity to manage and develop their teams.

Our coaching engagements are grounded in internationally validated psychometric tools — we are certified in MBTI and DISC — which provide a rich, evidence-based foundation for the coaching relationship. What distinguishes our coaching practice is the combination of deep organizational consulting experience, knowledge of the Mozambican and regional professional context, and a genuine commitment to the growth of the people we work with.

We have coached senior leaders in civil society organizations, development agencies, and private sector companies — helping them refine their leadership approach, improve team dynamics, navigate difficult organizational transitions, and become more intentional and effective in their roles. We also offer financial coaching to finance teams, helping them build confidence with accounting systems, financial reporting, audit processes, and donor negotiations. Studies on Organizational Behaviour

Understanding how people behave in organizations — why they collaborate or don't, why they are motivated or disengaged, what drives performance or undermines it — is critical knowledge for anyone trying to improve organizational effectiveness. Our team conducts studies that explore organizational culture, climate, motivation, communication patterns, and interpersonal dynamics, generating insights that inform leadership decisions, HR strategies, and change management processes.

We have conducted organizational climate surveys, stakeholder perception studies, and institutional behavior analyses for a wide range of clients. Our broader evaluation work — including deep learning studies — consistently incorporates organizational behavior analysis to understand why programs and teams succeed or struggle. We bring both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to these studies, drawing on interviews, focus groups, surveys, and document analysis to produce findings that are credible, nuanced, and practically useful.
