Government
Overview and Experience
We have a long track record of supporting Mozambican government institutions in becoming more strategic, better organized, and more effective in establishing policy direction and delivering public services. Our work spans strategic planning, organizational assessments and restructuring, HR and financial systems strengthening, monitoring and evaluation, and capacity development.
To name just a few examples: we have developed strategic plans for the Ministry of Health (MISAU), the Ministry of State Administration and Public Service (MAEFP), the Tribunal Administrativo, the General Inspectorate of Finance; conducted institutional capacity assessments for SETSAN and rural WASH authorities; designed HR and compensation systems for REVIMO; and supported AIAS (now Instituto de Águas) in planning, monitoring, and institutional strengthening over six consecutive years. We have also conducted performance evaluations of government programs in the agriculture, environment, and social sectors.
Government organizations we have worked with include: Ministry of Health (MISAU), Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC), Ministry of State Administration and Public Service (MAEFP), Tribunal Administrativo, General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF), AIAS, REVIMO, INCM, SETSAN, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Labour, Women and Social Action (MTGAS), FUNAE.
