Overview and Experience

Few areas of governance are as important — or as technically demanding — as external oversight and audit. We have been a long-standing partner of Mozambique's Tribunal Administrativo (TA), the country's Supreme Audit Institution, supporting three strategic planning cycles spanning nearly 20 years (in 2008, 2011 and 2021). This sustained relationship reflects the trust the TA has placed in our team and our deep familiarity with the institution's mandate, culture, and development trajectory.

Beyond strategic planning, our work in this sector includes facilitation of regional consultation workshops, roundtables on performance audit, a landmark learning workshop connecting over 50 Mozambican municipalities with the Tribunal Administrativo, a workshop connecting the Tribunal Administrativo and the Members of Parliament, and — more recently — a high-level Consultation Workshop on the establishment of a Tribunal de Contas in the country. We have also facilitated, in Portugal, exchanges on the role of Supreme Audit Institutions in the 2030 Agenda and SDGs.
